Ash Tree Meadow Dominates in Galway Plate

The Gordon Elliott trained ASH TREE MEADOW dominated from start to finish in the Galway Plate for trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Danny Gilligan. The seven-year-old son of Bonbon Rose made virtually all of the running in the summer highlight of the Irish Jumps season to record big race success for owners Alymer Stud. The French bred gelding was the 12 length winner of his point-to-point for Donnchadh Doyle before selling to Aidan O’Ryan and his trainer for £135,000 at the 2021 Tattersalls Cheltenham April Sale.
