Impressive initial entries now online for the Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham December Sale of selected NH Breeze Up Horses, Point to Pointers and Form Horses.
The Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham December Sale is staged on Friday 9 December, the first day of the International Meeting and has an enviable reputation as the sale to buy a Cheltenham Festival winner. Gold Cup hero Lord Windermere, Triumph Hurdle victor Tiger Roll and Western Warhorse, the winner of the Ankle Chase are all graduates of the Cheltenham December Sale.
The 2016 renewal has already attracted an eye-catching collection of Point to Pointers and Form Horses from France, Ireland and the UK, with more to follow.
The NH Breeze Up Section
This year's Breeze Up section will offer a top class collection of twenty eight three-year-old NH prospects. The breeze will take place on the day of sale at 8.30am before racing.
Leading sires represented include:- Beneficial, Flemensfirth, Goldwell, Kayf Tara, Lauro, Martaline, Muhtathir, Oscar, Presenting, Robin Des Champs, Royal Dragon, Saddler Maker, Shantou, Sulamani and Westerner.
New for 2016, Tattersalls Ireland have videoed the Breeze Up entries at home. Footage of the lots in-hand, on the gallops and schooling over a fence will be available to view online next week.
