Tattersalls, Europe’s leading bloodstock auctioneers, has appointed Czech Republic based bloodstock agent Tomas Janda as an Overseas Representative for the Central and Eastern European area.
Janda, whose role will take effect from 1st June, already has a strong relationship with Tattersalls where he purchased this year’s Czech 2,000 Guineas winner IGNACIUS REILY at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale for 3,000 guineas.
Commenting on his appointment, Janda said:
“Horses purchased at Tattersalls have had an enormous impact on racing and breeding in the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe. I look forward to working with the entire Tattersalls Group to attract buyers to their sales.”
Tattersalls Jimmy George added:
“Tattersalls are committed to increasing the number of International buyers at all sales and we're looking forward to Tomas joining our team of Overseas Representatives. Tomas’ wealth of experience and contacts will be a huge asset to Tattersalls in attracting more purchasers from the Czech Republic and indeed other Central and Eastern European countries.”
