A smashing individual who did everything right to the final fence at Moira. He moved into contention after the second last with authority and always seemed to have the measure of his rivals as he went to the front at this point. At the last he then made a rare error which would have ended the chances of a lesser horse. He hit the last hard and momentum was briefly stalled but such was his talent and desire that he quickly recovered and went on to win. He could well have been a most impressive winner but for that error but he had done enough to confirm he is the makings of a high class national hunt performer and ultimately chaser in years to come.
