Eight wild card entries enhance Thursday's Cheltenham February Sale

The first Tattersalls Cheltenham Sale of 2019 takes place on Thursday 21 February at 1.30pm in the Tattersalls Sales Arena and has been further enhanced by the addition of eight wild card entries. Following the recent Equine Influenza outbreak Tattersalls and Cheltenham Racecourse will be adhering to all BHA guidelines pertaining to the movement of horses for this sale. Tattersalls will be in ongoing contact with all vendors in relation to their requirements before travelling horses to the venue.

Cheltenham graduates continue to excel on the track with a total of 33 black type races won since October 2018. Only yesterday the admirable TIGER ROLL stormed clear to take the Grade 2 Boyne Hurdle at Navan and CHRIS'S DREAM stayed on strongly to land the Grade 2 Ten Up Novice Chase at the same venue.

Last year's February Sale offered the unbeaten and subsequent Grade 2 winner
ENVOI ALLEN who heads the betting for this year's Cheltenham Champion Bumper. ALSA MIX winner of the Grade 2 Ballymore Winter Novices' Hurdle was also purchased at last year's renewal.
