'We sympathize with all trainers and handlers who have been severely affected by the recent flooding and wind damage and indeed with the point to point committees and racecourses who have either lost or had to postpone their meetings. Running select sales requires us to be flexible and we are confident in these unprecedented circumstances that this will work well for all parties. I would like to acknowledge the support that we have received from the team at Cheltenham Racecourse in making this late change and I am sure that it will be a successful move for this Sale. It provides Vendors, who have lost valuable preparation time with their horses owing to poor conditions and lost out on race opportunities owing to cancellations, with valuable extra time to focus on this sale which has been very successful for some time now. Purchasers will undoubtedly be rewarded with more quality and choice and it will also offer the opportunity for early four-year-old winners to be offered on this date. It seemed in the circumstances that every stakeholder would benefit from the postponement of the January sale to Thursday February 18th so we were delighted, in conjunction with Cheltenham Racecourse, to be able to accommodate this move'.

This sale will take place at 1:30pm on Thursday February 18th with pre-sales vetting taking place on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th February. Viewing will take place on Wednesday 17th February also. Entries for the main catalogue will close on Monday morning February 1st while Wildcards will be taken up until Monday morning February 15th.
