Timeforatune hits all the right notes in Listed Bumper at Cheltenham November Meeting

TIMEFORATUNE maintained his unbeaten record when winning the concluding Listed Bumper at the Cheltenham November meeting. The Paul Nicholls trained gelding picked up well from off the pace and stayed on powerfully in the closing stages to win in tenacious style. The son of YORGUNNABELUCKY will now embark on a hurdling career and rates a very exciting prospect for his owner John Hales. He was sold by Brian Eckley to Highflyer Bloodstock for £175,000 at this year’s Cheltenham May Sale which was staged at Park Paddocks, Newmarket.

 

Over at Cork MAGIC DAZE opened her account over regulation fences in fine style when running away with the Beginners Chase for Henry de Bromhead and owners Robcour. She looks likely to take high rank in the Novice Chase division this season for connections. She was sold by Colin Bowe to Mags O’Toole for €92,000 at last year’s Cheltenham November Sale which was staged at Tattersalls Ireland’s Fairyhouse sales complex.

 

On Saturday at Cheltenham SPORTING JOHN bounced back to form when taking the Listed Handicap Hurdle for Philip Hobbs and J P McManus. The son of GETAWAY was sold by Matthew Flynn O’Connor to Frank Berry for £160,000 at the 2019 Festival Sale.

 

The Mouse Morris trained FRENCH DYNAMITE boasts some very useful hurdles form and made a smooth transition to fences when dominating the Beginners Chase at Punchestown for owners Robcour on Saturday. He was sold by Donnchadh Doyle’s Monbeg Stables to Mags O’Toole for £165,000 at the 2019 May Sale.

 

MINELLA CROONER made it two from two in bumpers when asserting in fine style in the closing stages of the concluding race at Punchestown on Saturday. The David Barnard owned son of SHANTOU was purchased by Mouse O’Ryan from John Nallen for £70,000 at this year’s April Sale which was staged at Park Paddocks, Newmarket.

 

Tattersalls Cheltenham now look forward to the December Sale which will be staged after racing at the International Meeting on Friday 10th December.
